Een must have voor thuis, op werk en ideaal om mee te nemen op reis. The AlkalineWater Jug (AlkaKan) is different from standard water filter jugs, such as Brita, Bobble. This water jug naturally filters tap water for taste and odor disrupting elements/substances and reduces metals such as lead and copper.

BUT the AlkaKan does more! Minerals are also added to the water during the filtration process, increasing the pH (acidity) and decreasing the ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential).
The AlkaKan turns tap water into delicious freshly filtered, alkaline/ basic (ionized) water with better hydration due to the increased pH and antioxidant action due to the reduced ORP.

The filter does not “dead filter” the tap water:

Filters taste and odor contaminants (BV: chlorine)
Reduces some of the metals, such as copper and lead, that can enter drinking water through pipes
Colloidal silver keeps the filter cartridge clean (works anti-bacterial)
Alkalizes and mineralizes water due to addition of lime and magnesium
The pH value increases by 1.5 – 2 points
The ORP drops by -200 to – 500mV (!!!)

Typically, the filter lasts about 1-3 months (depending on usage).
The lid features electronic replacement indicator. This indicator tells you when to change the filter cartridge. We recommend changing the filter every 4-6 weeks. With the pH test paper, of course, you can also measure whether your filter is still working properly.

Delivery & colors:
The AlkaKan comes standard, including 1 filter cartridge and free pH test paper.
There are several colors (White, Blue, Green and Black). The AlkaKan and the matching filters are the same color.

Divergent return policy on withdrawal:
Due to hygienic reasons, we cannot take back and sell certain products.

Unopened filters in seal (see product photos) may be returned. Opened filters cannot be returned. Due to hygienic reasons, we are not allowed to take them back and resell them. Regarding this part, we will charge 100% of the purchase price of a separate filter.
Returning the product (after it has already been put to use) is possible, however, we reserve the right to grant no or partial refund (up to 50% of the purchase price).

Manufacturer’s stated pH and ORP results are from testing in laboratories with conditioned conditions. Therefore, the results may/will differ from the values adopted by the manufacturers and by us. pH and ORP is highly dependent on the qualities of the water to be used:

Thus, the starting value of the pH may vary greatly.
The filter (in mineral ionization) is obsolete.
In addition, the temperature of the water is never ideal. The lower the temperature, the higher the oxygen content of that water. Since water from our taps is never around 2 degrees Celsius, the amount of oxygen in the water is never optimal, so the ORP is never optimal either. Depending on its temperature, the water has a maximum storage capacity of 14mg. per liter. Therefore, if the water from your tap is about 12 degrees Celsius, it can harbor much less oxygen than at the 2 degrees Celsius mentioned earlier.
The mineral content and ratios of various minerals to each other can vary greatly. Without minerals or other matter present, it cannot be ionized because water itself is very poor conductor.
